Gabriel Rolt-Violán is a curator, art advisor and dealer with over two decades of experience in the international art world. He has curated and organized more than 200 exhibitions worldwide, working with contemporary and historical works across different periods and mediums.
As the founder of Rolt Art Advisory, Gabriel specializes in curating, art dealing, and private advisory services, with expertise in high-end secondary market works, contemporary art, Japanese Ukiyo-e, and antique prints. He advises collectors, institutions, and private clients, offering a sharp eye for acquisitions and curation.
Rolt-Violán’s special interest in the emerging art scene led him to found Galerie Gabriel Rolt, an Amsterdam based art gallery that fostered the careers of an impressive stable of local and international artists. He subsequently founded and was creative director of HERO, expanding his work with international artists. His exhibitions often combine historical context with contemporary relevance, focusing on quality, originality, and depth.
